I absolutely love teddy bears and I love to illustrate them. This artwork is actually of a teddy bear I own. I hand drew and colored him, then added a digital background and filter. Wes (after Westin on his tag) is a teddy bear I found in a department store left all alone on the floor. After shopping I took him to the counter, but they couldn't price him if I'm recalling correctly (although I seem to remember paying $10 for him; memory is such a fragile thing). I've had him ever since.

Consider this art for a child or baby's room. Or, if you're an adult teddy bear lover like I am, think of it for pretty much any room in which you hang art.

I am a self-taught artist. I work with various mediums including acrylic, watercolors, pastels, graphic arts, film, digital photography, and digital imaging. Much of my work involves mixed mediums. I am also a portrait artist and illustrator, heavily influenced and inspired by the communities in which I have lived. I also enjoy illustrating sports scenes, painting portraits, and drawing cartoons.
